Vision, Issues, & Values

After devoting decades of his life serving the people of Vance and Granville counties, both spiritually and through his civic work, Frank Sossamon is ready to represent you through legislative action as Representative of District 32 in the North Carolina House of Representatives.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT: Capitalism is an essential part of democracy. In order to grow our local economy, we must support capitalist principles. To accomplish this, we must limit government involvement and encourage a free market economy. By minimizing government intervention, our local economy can operate in its most efficient state, encouraging small business development and generating local jobs.

EDUCATION: Education is the foundation of any great society. Parents know what is best for their children and should have the ultimate say in their education. By protecting parents’ right to decide what is being taught in schools, parents are put back in control of their child’s education. Radicals will no longer be allowed to decide for parents the topics or subjects they want addressed in the classroom.

CRIME: Strong relationships between law enforcement agencies and those they serve is crucial to keeping our community safe. Decreasing criminal activity in our community can be accomplished through the building of trust between law enforcement agencies and the citizens they protect.
